Terms & Conditions of Service

Effective Date: January 1, 2026 | Last Updated: September 05, 2026

Welcome to Greenville Plumber Expert. These Terms & Conditions establish the contractual agreement between you ("Customer," "Client," or "Property Owner") and Greenville Plumber Expert ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), founded by John Brown. These terms govern your use of our website at https://greenvilleplumberexpert.com and apply to all residential and commercial plumbing diagnostic evaluations, maintenance, repairs, installations, and repiping projects performed across Greenville, Winterville, Ayden, Farmville, and throughout Pitt County, North Carolina.

1. Diagnostic Evaluations & Written Work Authorization

Before any plumbing repair, replacement, or installation commences, our licensed technician performs a comprehensive on-site diagnostic assessment and presents a clear, upfront written estimate detailing the exact scope of work, required materials, and fixed pricing. Work proceeds only with the explicit authorization of the property owner or designated legal representative. If unforeseen concealed structural conditions (such as hidden framing rot, electrical wiring conflicts, asbestos insulation, or unpermitted legacy piping) are discovered during execution, our technician will immediately inform you and present an amended written proposal before continuing.

2. Upfront Flat-Rate Pricing & Payment Terms

We operate on a transparent flat-rate pricing structure rather than unpredictable hourly billing. The price specified on your approved written estimate is the final price you pay for the designated scope of work. Payment in full is due upon completion of the service visit unless prior commercial credit terms or formal home improvement financing agreements have been approved in writing. We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express), debit cards, personal checks, bank transfers, and financing installments.

3. Workmanship Warranties & Product Guarantees

Greenville Plumber Expert, led by founder John Brown, stands firmly behind the mechanical integrity and craftsmanship of our plumbing work:

  • Labor Warranty: All labor performed by our licensed plumbers is backed by written labor warranty protection as indicated on your itemized customer service invoice.
  • Manufacturer Warranties: Equipment including water heaters, tankless units, sewage ejectors, and sump pumps are protected by manufacturer warranties. We assist customers in registering all units to ensure complete coverage.
  • Warranty Limitations: Warranties do not cover damage caused by abnormal water pressure exceeding 80 PSI (where homeowner declined PRV installation), frozen piping resulting from unheated structures, customer negligence, unapproved third-party modifications, or foreign objects flushed into drainage lines.

4. Property Access & Job Site Safety

The client agrees to provide safe, clear access to the work location, main water shutoff valves, cleanout access points, and electrical breaker panels. Our technicians strictly adhere to OSHA guidelines and North Carolina State Plumbing Code safety standards to protect your property and occupants.

5. Underground Utilities & Excavation Work

For projects requiring underground excavation (such as sewer line replacements or water service line trenching), Greenville Plumber Expert will contact NC 811 to locate public utilities before digging. Property owners are responsible for identifying private underground lines (such as private irrigation lines, landscape lighting, or invisible pet fences) that are not located by public utility locators.

6. Limitation of Liability

While Greenville Plumber Expert exercises master-level care during all diagnostic and repair work, we are not liable for pre-existing hidden structural defects, deteriorating drywall weakened by long-term moisture, or municipal utility supply fluctuations. Our total liability for any claim arising out of our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the specific service rendered.

7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any dispute or claim arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of competent jurisdiction located in Pitt County, NC.

9. Severe Weather, Freeze Protection & Act of God Clauses

In Eastern North Carolina, sub-freezing winter temperature snaps and hurricane storm surges present distinct structural hazards to residential plumbing systems. The property owner agrees that freeze protection for exterior hose bibbs, unheated crawlspaces, and outdoor tankless water heater venting is the responsibility of the homeowner unless an active freeze-protection insulation contract is executed with Greenville Plumber Expert. We are not liable for pipe failures resulting from catastrophic municipal grid power failures, unheated vacant buildings, or regional natural disasters.

10. Severability & Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction in Pitt County, North Carolina, such provision shall be severed without affecting the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions. These Terms represent the entire operational agreement between the parties regarding service delivery.
